3 Important Resources for Supervisors

Are you a newly minted supervisor? Are you still nervous about managing a team and dealing with multiple communication styles? Do you want to connect with other supervisors?

If so, you’d be a great candidate for GovLoop’s Community of Practice for New Supervisors. This group is designed to provide resources for new or want-to-be supervisors. When you join, you’ll receive access to resources to prepare you to be a superior supervisor. Here are three takeaways you will receive from this community.

1. Connect with other supervisors

When you join GovLoop’s Community of Practice, you will have access to our LinkedIn group. In this group, you will be able to connect with peers and share tips, stories and feedback. Connecting with your fellow supervisors can offer clarity as you navigate your role.

2. Who doesn’t love networking?

In addition to our LinkedIn group, we’ll also provide monthly networking events to help you truly feel like a part of a community. Supervisory experts will lead these events, sharing their knowledge with you, so make sure to take notes.

 3. Access worksheets

In addition to our array of social gatherings, we’ll also provide resources, like our “Leading and Succeeding in Times of Change” worksheet. These worksheets will give you insight into the nuances of being a supervisor. You’ll learn how to care for a team, think strategically and infuse fun into your team’s work.

We want you to feel connected to each other and excel in your positions. We will meet virtually for the first time on Tuesday, March 30 at 4 p.m. ET. Join our Community of Practice for New Supervisors today, and don’t miss out!
