Routine can be comforting, but change is just as important in our lives. For many of us, our jobs may have been a constant for years or even decades. Professional growth is critical to advance our careers and that means being aware of new opportunities available to us.
At the end of this month, you’ve got two opportunities to make a change. On Tuesday, Jan. 28 and Wednesday, Jan. 29, reStart Events will host hiring and networking events in the D.C. area specially tailored to government employees with security clearances. With a number of employers looking to fill open positions, this could be the opportunity you are looking for.
Submit your resume ahead of time to have it circulated among potential employers, and come at 1 p.m. for an expert-led career workshop. At 2 p.m., the hiring event begins, and you’ll have the chance to talk with recruiters and hiring managers from all the different companies. At 5:30 p.m., there will be a networking happy hour, where you can make valuable professional connections with peers and employers alike.
GovLoop will be there, so stop by and say hi!
