GovLoop is hiring!
We are looking for bright, hard-working current or recent students (an undergraduate degree, or working towards one, is all that is required) to join us starting May 22. These are paid internships in Downtown DC. Positions are 4 months with the opportunity to extend to 8 months. We’re looking for those interested in editorial/writing, events, and digital engagement and the full job descriptions can be found below. Throughout GovLoop’s history, more than 80 fellows have worked as integral contributors to core projects including our research reports, online and in-person training events, digital marketing campaigns, GovLoop Academy, the Mentors Program, web and graphic design and much more. Past fellows have gone onto jobs at the State Department, OMB, National Geographic and Deloitte among others.

What You Get To Do:
- Write and edit research reports, blog posts, and other GovLoop written products
- Conduct interviews and research and analysis on latest government topics
- Attend government-related events in DC and capture content ideas
- Recruit, identify, and interview expert thought leaders in government
What We Need In You:
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Ability to conduct quick research and synthesize into compelling summary content
- Interest in the public sector
- Dynamic go-getter who can handle a range of tasks and juggle multiple projects at the same time
What You Get To Do:
- Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of in-person and online events
- Create post-event ROI metrics reports for sponsors
- Develop slide decks, surveys, and other digital training materials
- Work closely with Salesforce, Eloqua, ON24, and additional sales forecasting and event management software.
- Support the Events Director in day-to-day operations
What We Need In You:
- Dynamic go-getter who can handle a range of tasks and is comfortable
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Past customer service experience preferred
- Past event planning or marketing experience preferred
- Desire to learn more about the planning and execution of events

- Conduct interviews and research and analysis on latest government topics
- Write compelling strategy and messaging copy for digital channels
- Contribute to workflow, enablement and process projects to support team collaboration
- Gain expertise of Granicus technologies and service offerings
- Facilitate preparation for internal and external meetings
