In an earlier post: Computers in Libraries 2011, I gave you some information on the 2011 Computers in Libraries (CIL) coming up next week in Washington, D.C. As a reminder, the conference dates are March 21 – 23, 2011. The theme for 2011 is: Strategic Focus & Value for Library Communities. CIL is a favorite conference of mine and well worth attending. However, if you cannot attend the conference, you can still pop into the exhibit hall. Exhibit hall passes are available for free. You just need to register for it via the Registration link for CIL 2011.
Here’s a little more information on the conference offerings:
- 2011 Computers in Libraries (This is the main conference page for CIL 2011)
- Conference Blog: www.LibConf.com
- Final program for CIL 2010 in PDF
- Government library stream details
- Registration link for CIL 2011
- Twitter tag: #CIL11
With five conference streams, including a stream focused on special and government libraries, plenty of networking opportunities, and an exhibit hall to visit, CIL has a lot to offer in 2011.
If you’re attending, I hope to see there. Look for my conference blog posts here on the Government Info Pro and follow my conferece tweets @libraryfocus!
