Massive federal budget cuts are set to kick-in in just a few weeks and that could mean furloughs for hundreds of thousands of federal and civilian workers.

These measures could hit our local workforce very hard, but if you are facing a furlough, you don’t have to take it lying down says John Mahoney, Chair of the Labor & Employment Law Practice Group at Tully Rinckey.

Mahoney joined WUSA9′s Jessica Doyle to talk about the issue and provide options such as filing appeals and complaints. He even offered options for private workers.
