“The time to relax is when you don’t have time for it.” –Sydney J. Harris
1. Make time for their family and friends
This is especially important if you have to travel to different work sites throughout your work week.
2. Exercise
If you are unable to exercise during the week, then you need to take advantage of the weekends.
3. Pursue a passion
There’s nothing more invigorating than pursuing a creative outlet for what you love to do. I like to do creative writing on the weekends, what do you like to do?
4. Take a tech break
During the week, most of us are tied to our email and cell phones. Why not unplug on the weekends and just enjoy time with your own thoughts, your friends and family.
5. Volunteer
There’s no better feeling than helping someone who needs it. Who can you help this weekend?
6. Recharge
After working a full work week, take time on the weekend to reboot your batteries. Take a walk in the park. Go for a run. Spend the day at the spa.
7. Reflect
Successful people take time to reflect on the things in their life they are grateful for. The weekends are a great time to become more introspective.
8. Plan ahead
Planning makes you more effective. Successful people take time to think ahead and plan for the future.
