Mobile is a central component to the modernization efforts in the State of Mississippi. Continuing efforts to mobilize state services has become an important tactic to improving state efficiency and empowering residents with the convenience of self-service.
Under Orgeron’s leadership, the state has emerged as a leader in developing mobile apps to serve residents and strengthen state services. Mississippi currently offers eight mobile apps to citizens and is exploring ways to develop a comprehensive mobile strategy in order to better serve the technologically advanced lifestyles of citizens.
