The bitterness of poor quality is compounded exponentialy when the project is also behind schedule and over budget. After 35 years in the public and private sectors, I can recall very few programs that failed to meet schedule or budget targets while delivering a quality product. Good leaders do not make excuses. They get the job done, on time, within budget and delivering a quality end result.
