My suggestion for a “silo busting and brilliant innovation in 2010” is to put your desktop into the cloud in support of the Open Government Directive and Data.gov/semantic. For more details see the following:

Cool idea…what do others think?
I think we need a true cloud directive. There are two issues here: cloud desktops and semantic web. Cloud is within close reach and I’m all for it to happen ASAP. Semantic web is most likely going to be adopted (and standardized) first in the private sector. The Open Gov Directive doesn’t include any real call-to-action for agencies to adopt the cloud. Federal CIO, please create a strong cloud computing directive!
Dave, Thanks for the comment and please see http://www.whitehouse.gov/omb/budget/fy2010/assets/crosscutting.pdf and the July Federal Cloud Computing Summit with Vivek Kundra at http://federalcloudcomputing.wik.is/ for the “call to action”
Pretty cool wiki…Is that put together by the Semantic Community?
By the Federal Cloud Computing Community.

Wow…that’s pretty sweet. Makes sense especially for a huge department like Defense.
