Chart illustrates State Nuclear Weapon Possession Around the World

In a recent infographic on Wonkblog, Ezra Klein clearly illustrates the nuclear stockpiles of countries which possess nuclear weapons.

According to Klein, The U.S. and Russia lead the way with 94 percent of all nuclear arms being held between them.

Russia has 8,500 warheads and the U.S. has 7,700 missiles.

There is a big drop for the next-most possessors of nuclear weapons with France holding 300 and China with 240.

The U.K. has 225 and Pakistan and India have from 80-110 each.
