I am YOUNG and I like MONEY. GEN Y is Young Money. Is the workforce ready for the “Headlines”? – Kanika Tolver
The Next Generation of Government Summit of 2011, really inspired me when I saw 500 young government employees who were intelligent, fun, and resilient. They represent “Young Money”, which is inspired by Lil Wayne’s label called Young Money via Cash Money Records. I am a HUGE fan of rap music and one of Young Money’s artist by the name of Drake just released a new single called “Headlines”.
I believe that GEN Y employees have learned from past generations in so many ways. Gen Y employees want to make good money, but we want to live in purpose and we want to display our talents within the workplace. Gen Y employees want the “Headlines” of being true to themselves and making a difference in world.
Check out some key quotes from Drake’s new single “Headlines”.
I might be too strung out on compliments; overdosed on confidence. Drake (Most GEN Y employees are bold and fearless).
The real is on the rise. Drake (Most GEN Y employees try to keep it real).
I had someone tell me I fell off, oh I needed that. Drake (Most GEN Y employees are open to personal growth).
