Has anyone else noticed a lack of curiosity among office members? I have a difficult time getting people to try new applications, or try new capabilities in existing programs.
Implementing SharePoint is difficult because people just don’t want to try anything new. Just do my job the same way I have always done it, never ask “how can I do this better?”
I know about the principles of change management and the differnet types of people. I read Todd Kasdan’s book Curiosity – which is very good. But it seems the curiosity gene has been burned or lost by many people.
Some of my most frustrating days are trying to generate interest in the new and different!
