TheInternet Identity Workshop is heading to DC for a one day “Satellite version” on January 17th, 2012.
We have a theme LEVERAGING OPEN IDENTITY AND PERSONAL DATA
We were asked to bring the event to DC again (our first one there was September of 2010. There has been a lot of activity with FICAM – Federal Identity Credential and Access Management efforts along with other federal programs. There was also the publication of NSTIC – National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace.
So, what is the agenda? Well – all the folks who come get to make it during the opening circle at the event.
So, its like one of those hacker-barcamp things? Kinda but a bit more organized and specifically designed to meet the needs of professionals getting work done in their day jobs.
What are the topics that will be covered? We ask attendees as they register to name topcis. You can find the ones shared so far here on our wiki.
Who’s coming? So far there are some great folks including Jeremy Grant head of the NSTIC program office. You can see the complete list so far by scrolling down.
