The Department of Homeland Security is expanding the use of the Transportation Security Administration’s IdeaFactory department-wide. TSA has used the IdeaFactory since 2007 as a way for employees to suggest ideas and changes to programs within the agency.
Gale Rossides, TSA’s Acting Administrator, tells the Federal Drive what the expansion of the program will mean for DHS employees. Find out what Rossides told Federal News Radio by clicking here.
In would be great if TSA would now open this up Government wide. I know we would love to have this service over at USGS.
It will definitely be interesting to see what happens as DHS expands the use of the system. If it’s as beneficial to the entire agency as it has been to TSA maybe some other departments will get their own crack at it!
