Today is Bike or Walk to Work Day. Here in D.C., the weather is beautiful and we’ve got a bike-sharing service, Capital Bike Share, that makes it easy to participate. Thanks to a recent membership deal on Living Social, I can’t walk down the street without seeing people riding by on the shared bikes. Some employers also encourage bike commuting by providing a bike room in the garage, and locker rooms and showers. Biking or walking to work is a great way to ease congestion, get some exercise, and be more green. So tell us, did you bike or walk to work today? How do you commute normally, and would you ever consider switching to another method of transportation?
