Have you signed up yet for the Drupal summit? If you haven’t, you should!

Signing up for events like this helps to connect both Government employees to contractors and Govies to Govies.

No, seriously, it works like that.

When you go to these events, you get to meet amazing Government employees who are doing amazing things like these folks:

Washington DC

  • 11:00AM Beyond Websites: Building an Open Source Application Strategy Dave Cole, Sr. Advisor to the CIO of the Executive Office of the President, whitehouse.gov

  • 11:45AM Resourcing for Drupal: Attracting Talent, Building Teams and Managing Rollouts
Panel session featuring Deb Moriarity from GDIT, Jeff Walpole from Phase2, Jacob Redding from Drupal Association, Gray Brooks from FCC, and Anna Murray from tmg-emedia.

  • 3:15PM Real-world Case Study, presented by Luis Medina, GSA

  • 4:00PM Using Drupal to Open Up the New York State Senate by Andrew Hoppin, NY State Senate

*Agenda is subject to change.

Somehow, I’m also in this lineup, but it’s a smaller 15 minute session, but I digress…

So, tomorrow, Thursday, you get to meet Dave Cole (White House), Gray Brooks (FCC) Luis Medina (GSA), Andrew Hoppin (NY Senate CIO), and me, Kirsten Burgard. And I really hope that we all get to meet more awesome Government Employees at this event, or it’s going to be really boring for me and these 4 guys!

So, some on, sign up for the Summit!!
