We often cover sustainable transportation here on the CEIL Blog, but the posts on this topic are usually about new EVs or high-speed rail lines. Today, we wanted to share with you a post about one of the easiest things people can do to ‘green’ their daily commute: ride bikes.
The magazine Momentum recently published an article titled “Bicycle Commuting Counts” and one of the reasons it grabbed our attention was because the author sees bicycling to work as one of the easiest ways to meet the carbon-reduction goals of EO13514. It’s trackable, relatively low-cost and cuts emissions in a real and quantifiable way.
Read the article to decide for yourself, but we think they may be on to something.
