Interesting article from the San Diego Union: Federal paychecks top private in county
Has some interesting numbers not only from the Federal sector but other sectors as well…
Most of the numbers, that were of an interest to me, were the numbers of employees in the different categories.
Because of the following quote

“The San Diego Union Tribune has been collecting data about federal pay since President Barack Obama announced a freeze in one category of federal pay raises late last month.
None of the sources includes a comparison of federal and private pay for workers with similar education or years of experience.”
…
Not sure that the $ amounts have much meaning except to politicians and others with a specific agenda
