Moving toward health equity requires full participation by communities of color in the policy making process and implementation of the Affordable Care Act. Community Catalyst conducted an assessment to identify emerging and effective ways state consumer health advocates and community-based organizations are engaging communities of color in creating policy change to advance the ACA.
On this call speakers will:
* Share the findings from the research, including best practices used by
state and local advocates in five states Alabama, Michigan, Minnesota,
New York and Oregon
* Hear from advocates in New York and Minnesota about the work in their
work to advance health equity
* Offer recommendations for state and national organizations and
funders”
