Getting the Word(s) Out

This week, with much thanks to Tony Karrer (@tonykarrer), this blog began being featured in eLearningLearning, which is pretty much the biggest aggregator of eLearning-related blogs (and wow, there are a lot of them now). Of course, eLL focuses on more than straight-up eLearning, which is good because as casual readers would guess I’m blogging about what’s coming and what’s behind the scenes a lot more than I’m blogging about the tools many practitioners are using now.

So, if you’re new to this blog, I bid you a hearty welcome and a big ol’ bear hug. While my writing style is sometimes kinda esoteric, it seems that many of the projects and technologies I’ve written about are starting to come to light. Tony and other bloggers (Brent Schlenker, Judy Unrein, Brian Dusablon just to name a few) and online magazines like eLearn Magazine and Learning Solutions are incredibly active in making the better, more useful (and hopefully actionable) information I sometimes muster within reach for larger audiences.

If you’re new to this blog, I’m a technologist, an organization designer and a strategist — and that is all the scaffolding for my current activity as a community manager and (somewhat) embedded reporter where intriguing (and usually open) learning technology projects are surfacing.

I’m a contractor working with Advanced Distributed Learning, now engaged (fully) with the Federal Learning Registry.
