Who else here hopes to make it to CityCamp in Chicago in January?
Looks like a great event is shaping up of January 23-24.
What kind of topics would you like to see explored?
Any stories/experiences/projects you’d like to share?
Also, E-Democracy.org is hosting the e-mail group for the event, so feel free to virtually join in there as well on on the GovLoop group created by Kevin Curry.
I’ll be attending and it looks like a great event.
I plan on attending and am looking forward to seeing how other local governments are using social media. It would also be interesting to explore with others through a discussion, panel, or round table the challenges of becoming “fully transparent.”
I think there is a huge lack of education in our country about local government – what, why, and how things are done and the responsibilities citizens have when they live in a community. Because this could become a huge stumbling block as we move forward, I would like to hear how this issue can be best addressed.
