Readers, no college football picks this week… we’ll get back to that next week. And this accounting class is making the Hokie Guru work hard; he’s trying to convert to the GS-511 Auditor Series in the federal government.
In other news, President-Elect Barrack Obama wants a college football playoff. Sounds like we would get along well.
In the mean time, please check out the 2009 NCAA Men’s Basketball Preseason Rankings (including, seven teams in the Big East Conference and four teams from the Atlantic Coast Conference… and Virginia Tech got votes). The Hokie Guru will have posts later on during the season analyzing the top six baskeball conferences, including the Big East Conference, Atlantic Coast Conference, the Big 11 10 Conference, the Pacific 10 Conference, the Southeastern Conference, and the Big 12 Conference. Have a great week!!

Big East looks a lot better than in football. Hard to believe Miami will be actually good. I bet one of these teams – UConn, Louisville, and Pitt – won’t end the year in the top 25.
