GSA IAE is seeking Industry Feedback

I am reposting this from the IAE Interact site. You can read more and sign up for this interactive community here.

“The GSA Integrated Award Environment team is asking you to dive into our current business processes to tell us what can be improved as we move forward with the development of the future environment.

To start, we are sharing the existing business process maps for two IAE systems, the Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System (eSRS) and the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Subaward Reporting System (FSRS) – (see process documents attached here). This is your opportunity to participate in improving the systems that impact you; we need your perspective, experience, issues and innovative recommendations.

We are looking for technical subject matter experts to review these process documents within their area of expertise and give us input. Our intention is not to recreate these systems, but to better understand your touchpoints and how you interact with each as we work to extract key functions.

The documents posted below diagram eSRS and FSRS current processes. We need you to tell us where we have it right and where the pain points are. Are there unnecessary steps or ways we can streamline each process? Help us assess and adjust these in order to increase efficiency and improve the user experience.

Submitting feedback is easy; just click the system name below to view the associated process document and then click “Comment” to submit any questions, omissions or suggested upgrades. The feedback form simply asks you to select which process document you are commenting on and indicate the specific section you are referring to.

To maintain transparency and drive a crowd-sourced discussion, the “View Comments” link enables you to review what your peers are saying by making all comments publicly viewable while hiding the personally-identifiable information. If you prefer to submit your comments privately, you may do so by emailing [email protected].

The comment period is open until April 19th. All comments and suggestions will be given careful consideration, however there will not be a public reconciliation of comments. If you would like to be considered to participate in a facilitated focus group, please email us at [email protected].

We look forward to your feedback.”
