From the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University:
“The Department of Political Science at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University invites applications for a full-time, two year term position in Public Law and Policy at the rank of Assistant Professor, to begin August 2012. The successful candidate will be expected to teach three classes per semester, including: a sophomore-level course on U.S. courts, law and policy introducing political science research approaches in public law; a First Year Seminar; an introductory course; and upper-level courses within the candidate’s areas of specialty.
Preference will be given to candidates whose specialty emphasizes the relationship between law and public policy while treating courts as policymaking institutions. We welcome applications that take a comparative or international perspective as well as those which focus on the United States. All members of the department share in the teaching of courses in the Common Curriculum.
