The State Department’s Virtual Student Foreign Service (VSFS) eInternship applications are available on www.usajobs.gov (search “VSFS eInternship”) from November 3-17. If you are a U.S. citizen college or graduate student interested in conducting digital diplomacy through a virtual eInternship with a U.S. Embassy, Consulate, or Mission overseas, this program may be for you. Students from all backgrounds and areas of study are invited to apply. This is the first year the VSFS eInternship program is open to all U.S. college and graduate students. FAQs, a description of the 2010-2011 eIntern positions, and more information about VSFS can be found here: www.state.gov/vsfs.

Thanks so much for posting, Tiffany! Also, check out the YouTube video of Chantel Bennett, one of last year’s eInterns, as she talks about her virtual internship with the U.S. Consulate in Shenyang, China. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lghEj-G7J80
This seems pretty interesting. I’ll have to check it out. Thanks!
Great, Elliott – please feel free to email Bridget, me, and the rest of the VSFS team at [email protected] if you have any questions. Thanks!
