Today and tomorrow (March 5th and 6th), Kansas Campus Compact is hosting The Kansas Hunger Dialogue in Overland Park, Kansas.
The goal for this year’s Kansas Hunger Dialogue (this is its second year) is to develop a statewide consensus among institutions of higher learning to impact hunger with the state of Kansas and ultimately, the world. Last year’s event was an exciting and energizing affair that generated significant momentum at Kansas colleges to take action on global and domestic hunger.
Attendees of the Kansas Hunger Dialogue will gain the tools, networks, and inspiration to ensure that action on hunger continues to be a hallmark of Kansas higher education. Our keynote speakers will will inspire and challenge us to reject complacency, educate ourselves and take action in this most important cause, and panelists from across the nation and around the world will help us foster a true dialogue about why we should and how we can work to end hunger.
