Russ Linden wrote a book a few years back entitled Working Across Boundaries that inspired me to co-found the Interagency Network of Enterprise Assistance Providers (INEAP www.ineap.gov). He has just released a new book that’s got to be the definitive word on leading collaborations. It is fantastic! “Leading Across Boundaries: Creating Collaborative Agencies in a Networked World”

Hi Carroll:
In the area of public health preparedness, CDC has been doing work related to “meta leadership,” which may share some similarity with the work you’re discsussing…
That’s great Geoff! You can contact Russ Linden directly if you would like to learn more [email protected].
Cheers for collaboration and congratulations for being inspired to action-Carroll.
Interesting comments about collaboration that we received at the DOT sponsored Open Government Workshop January 11th.. It was said that “Government agencies historically have not collaborated, so how do we implement a working Plan by April 7th that expects the agencies to collaborate.” Someone said great question, I said to myself,
We have to start some where, and we have only just begun.
Thanks for the tip on the book “Leading Across Boundaries: Creating Collaborative Agencies in a Networked World.” and INEAP-We would love to discuss interviewing anyone you thought would be great for the upcoming Open Government TV show. http://www.opengovtv.com.
