Notes From NAGW
THE BEST conference of the year is just around the corner: the NAGW National Conference. Held at the Millennium Hotel in St. Louis, webmasters will gather from September 22 through September 24.
I’ve been at every conference since that first one in Kansas City nine years ago and they just keep getting better and better.
If this will be your first, you’ll arrive wondering what it’s like and leave with tons of great ideas and lots of new friends. If you’re a repeat attender, you’re in for some treats this year.
Geo-caching with Joe Rotella and Carole Lassak from Delphia Consulting was so much fun last year, they’re doing it again. Adriel Hampton will be there, broadcasting / interviewing for Gov20 radio. Follow NAGW on Twitter during the conference.
Our keynotes are going to be amazing:
- Jared Spool, author of the book, Web Usability: A Designer’s Guide and internationally recognized usability expert, will be providing the opening keynote “Cooking Up Gourmet User Experiences on a Fast-Food budget.”
- Phil Mui, Senior Product Manager for Google Analytics, will present Wednesday morning’s keynote on “Google Analytics.”
- Molly Holzschlag, acclaimed author and Opera Software Web Evangelist, will give the conference’s closing keynote, “The Open Web”
Then, there are the sessions, pre-conference sessions, great sponsors with ample opportunities to really understand their offerings, and peer networking.
From a 2009 attendee:
“Just want you to know that the NAGW 2009 conference
was the single best conference I’ve ever attended.”
There’s still time to sign up!
So, come “Meet me in St. Louis!” in September.
