Someone has probably already posted this, but the National Association of State CIOs has put out a great report / survey results on use of social media at the state level.
Great links to policies and examples, and a terrific state on page 4 pointing out that the average social media site user is 40 years old.
It’s great to see even organizations that are going to be more nervous about security such as NASCIO stepping forward with compelling reasons that states need to embrace new technologies.

Very interesting results indeed! It’s great to see that 42 out of 43 states are using social media for citizen engagement.
