I’ve been a big fan of the NCDD LinkedIn group for the past couple of years, as it has offered people a great space for some rich discussions with thoughtful professionals in our field — without clogging anybody’s inbox. It’s also a good place to hear about new resources, timely articles, and general goings-on in our field.
I’m so excited to announce that our LinkedIn group reached 1,000 m
embers this morning! That’s a pretty large LinkedIn group for our field, and I’m proud of the group we’ve created.
I want to send a special shout-out and thank-you to NCDD member John Cavanaugh of Cross Cultural Communications LLC, who has been managing and stewarding the group for the past year or so. Also – thank you to member John Spady of the Forum Foundation and Countywide Community Forums of King County. John launched the group a couple of years ago, before I was sure about LinkedIn myself.
