I NEED TO FIND 50+ SURVEY RESPONDENTS BY THIS THURSDAY!
To complete my final project for my master’s in integrated marketing communications, I have to collect responses from 50-100 people by Thursday for my 10-minute survey, and I only have a few thus far! I think Hurricane Sandy has affected a lot of my East Coast respondents… (I lost power for 24 hours myself!) 🙁
PROJECT OBJECTIVE: The project is to help re-brand West Virginia University’s Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism by deciding on a name change, undergrad curriculum tweaks and a communications plan to the key stakeholders.
PRIMARY DESIRED RESPONDENTS FOR THIS SURVEY: I primarily need college-bound high school students or current college freshmen/ sophomores to answer a dozen or so questions about studying journalism, advertising, public relations or integrated marketing communications in general and specifically at WVU, and opinions about changing WVU’s School of Journalism’s name and curriculum. (If the respondent is under 18, there’s a box in the survey for their parent/ guardian to provide permission).
SECONDARY RESPONDENTS: Since I am looking at other stakeholders that must be included in the communications plan, I worded the survey in such a way so that adults who influence these kids to choose a university or major (like parents/ grandparents/ teachers with high school or college-age kids) can also fill it out. Current or prospective journalism/ marketing/ advertising / public relations graduate students or professors can also answer.
YOUR MISSION SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT: Do you know any college-bound high school students or college 1st or 2nd year undergraduates, or someone who influences/ advises them? Or recent grads or current masters students or professors/ faculty?
If so, can you please pass this post or the survey link to anyone you know who fits the profile or who would pass it on to someone who does? Can you fill it out yourself if appropriate and post it to your Facebook/ Twitter/ Blog/ RSS Feed / email?
