Open for Business

Just a quick note this morning to let everyone know that Intellitics is now officially open for business.

We’re starting out focusing on two major areas:

• We’re building Zilino, a social software-as-a-service (SaaS) web application that enables public engagement practitioners to design, host and manage well structured, well facilitated community conversations and other participatory processes online. As of December 2012, Zilino is in closed beta.
• We offer consulting, services and training in the emerging area of digital engagement. We support clients in the public, private and non-profit sector as they learn how to apply information and communications technology (ICT) to engage communities, stakeholders and constituents in high-quality online dialogue and deliberation, whether for education purposes, collaborative problem solving or decision making.

In December, we signed our first client. We have begun work on a three-phase online deliberation project that will translate their in-person community engagement process into both web-only and hybrid formats using Zilino. This is a very exciting opportunity, and we hope to share more details very soon.

Over the coming weeks, we will work on updating this site to explain in more detail what we do, how we operate, and why you might enjoy working with us.
