Government Contractors are attempting to find work communicating with U.S. citizens about healthcare exchanges.
One of the ways these companies will interact with citizens on behalf og governments is to operate customer service centers.
An example, MAXIMUS recently opened a center in Maryland, which will help citizens with questions about enrolling in a health plan.
It’s too early for customers to enroll in insurance plans yet, but the center is available to handle residents’ questions, said Bruce L. Caswell, president and general manager of the company’s health services segment.
MAXIMUS has won work operating seven state service center along with being a subcontractor on two federal centers.
