I’m mad, and I suspect you are too.
Two new public opinion surveys were released last week about government, including one from The Washington Post, the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation and Harvard University. The polls showed the public has a negative view of our government and lacks faith in its ability to deliver positive results.
The words–disappointed, incompetent, inefficient and dysfunctional–came screaming across the front page of my morning newspapers. Lost among these negative words were the positives–good, necessary, satisfied and trying–about our government.
