Just got a tweet from the White House about their new launch of their Google+ web presence –

One feature that is really exciting is the new “Hangout,” a live multi-person video chat with up to ten participants. The President and First Lady often call the White House “The People’s House.” Well, this is another way they’re opening our doors (virtually) to citizens around the country.
Is this cool or what? The only problem is I’m getting a social network overload! Too many networks, not enough time!
Hey Terry – that is pretty cool, thanks for posting. It will be interesting to follow how the White House uses Google+, I’d love to do a hangout with Obama!
I agree with the social media overload – sometimes you just need to unplug for a bit.
