Time for OpenGovernance

I was rejuvenated by Candi Harrison‘s post from March 3, “It’s Time for Governance” and wanted to be sure that it got pushed out to the ‘net today.

I’m a wordy guy, so I even surprised myself with the longest comment to a blog post that I can remember. In case some of my colleagues don’t quite get the timeline here, about 1 minute after midnight on November 4 of last year, the clock began ticking on our massive plans and “what if’s” to accomplish real changes to the fabric of the Federal Web venue, and empower the concepts to change the way we do business. We don’t have 8 years, or 4 years – we have to move deliberately and with purpose to plan, develop, implement and debug this project while we have the momentum of the times.
