TSP Talk Weekly Wrap

The jobs report came out Friday with 215,000 jobs added and unemployment at 5%. This was close to par with expectations and may have triggered a selling spree at Friday’s open but was quickly followed by dip buyers coming in to send stocks to new highs for the week.

The S-fund lead the TSP funds for March with a 8.24% gain and has gotten out of negative territory of the year now with a 0.63% return for 2016.

EFA (EAFE Index / I-fund) was back within its trading channel Wednesday after falling below the previous Friday. The index fell back below the support line Thursday though and then gapped down to its 50-day EMA Friday.
