Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) invites you and your
colleagues to participate in a webinar to learn about how to design and
implement an effective deliberative session to explore the views of patients,
consumers, or other members of the community on challenging public problems in
healthcare or related areas.
Overview
Public
deliberation convenes members of the public or of a specific community to learn
about and discuss a complex societal issue. The purpose is to learn from the
participants and ultimately to make policy decisions that reflect their views.
On April 19, AHRQ will host a “how to” webinar to provide practical
guidance for those interested in using deliberative methods for obtaining
meaningful public input to inform their work. Topics will
include:
