The Department of Veterans Affairs is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, December 9 at 10:00 AM EST to discuss the status of its Supplier Relationship Transformation Effort. VA began this innovative effort, working with the vendor community, to effectively and efficiently deliver the highest quality cost-effective products and services to Veterans, at the right time, in the right place.
This webinar is a follow-up to the Supplier Relationship Transformation Forum that was held in August 2009. During this event representatives from the vendor community provided VA with feedback about its acquisition and procurement processes and provided input on how to address VA’s greatest mission challenges.
The public is invited to attend this webinar to learn more about the Supplier Relationship Transformation Effort, the work that has been done since the Forum, and the online submission tool VA will use to solicit ideas from industry and the public to address VA’s greatest mission challenges.
Presenters will include the Deputy Secretary Scott Gould and Glenn Haggstrom, the Executive Director for Acquisitions, Logistics and Construction at VA.
