Oklahoma
Key points:

  • Tort reform is moving through the legislature as key components of a reform package have passed both houses.
  • Education reform is moving through quickly as legislators look at measures that would streamline teacher due process and end special promotions.

Nebraska
Key points:

  • Nebraska is the newest state to look at changing collective bargaining for teachers and public employees – a 67-page proposal for revising the system has been created by a working group that will now be examined by the legislature.

Nevada
