Have you ever witnessed or participated in a marathon meeting (of an elected or appointed body)? Would love to hear your stories!
Afraid I have – One of my jobs I worked on a reservation. I have attended more than my share of loooooooooooooonnnnnng meetings. With an elected school board (on numerous occasions) and with the Tribal council.
I was doing some research for a presentation and this discussion came up in my Google search. I’ve got a good one for you – a 22 hour city council meeting in Toronto!

At an old job, there was a week-long requirement review “summit.” It was five days of 6-7 hours reviewing software requirements. Luckily, my team was only needed for a day.
