*What questions do you have about open data, apps contests and sustainability?*
Earlier this year, the Environmental Protection Agency launched a contest to build “green apps” using its data. After months of preparation, development, publicity and engagement, the contest produced 38 apps:http://appsfortheenvironment.challenge.gov/submissions
Last week, the winners of the contest were announced

Tomorrow, I’ll be moderating a panel at the forum on “business, tech and user perspectives.” at a forum in Arlington, Virginia: http://www.epa.gov/appsfortheenvironment/forum.html
Please vote and/or comments on the series of questions for my panelists on Google Moderator — or add your own!
http://www.google.com/moderator/#16/e=1162ebI‘ll add any questions posed in comments here to the series.
Some questions:
-What were the most successful outreach channels? Specific list-servs, websites, official EPA sites/email lists, Twitter/FB, etc
-Who was the most successful target audience of developers? Is it companies that deal in environment space? Non-profits? University students? Just random hackers?
Thank you, Steve!
