I can definitely see how a female voice would be more soothing…but assuming that this will become like Garmin and you can choose the type voice you want….eventually even picking the voice of someone you know!
I just wish these crazy devices could pick up female voices when talking to them a little better. I always have to use a low booming voice when talking to my GPS or bluetooth in the car. If they talk female…why can’t they understand female? Strange.
I understand that there was a complaint in Germany from male drivers who wanted the GPS voice changed to a male voice, because they refused to take directions from a woman. My husband told me that – I haven’t verified it. He told me Female in the US, Male in Europe.
