Why Cops Don’t Just Use Cell Phones

Washington State Representative Reuven Carlyle recently suggested in his blog that Police officers use cell phones instead of handheld radios in order to save money.

The following week, Bill Schrier, the CIO of Seattle, published a rebuttal in his blog detailing the five key reasons “Why Cops Don’t Just Use Cell Phones”:
