The Next Generation of Government Training Summit is tomorrow and I’m super excited to meet all 600 of you (check out the live stream for those not coming)
Here’s everything you need to know for manana:
1 – Prep yourself for an amazing experience at NextGen! Tomorrow, you will hear from several experts on a range of important government topics. To maximize your experience, here are three quick tips to get you ready:
– Make sure you know where you are going (JW Marriott is located at1331 Pennsylvania Ave in Washington, DC – Registration begins at 8:00, with sessions starting at 9:00 AM on 7/26).
– Check out the agenda and determine what sessions you would like to attend: No need to pre register for sessions, they are first come first serve.
– Figure out who you’d like to meet: Be sure to take a look at the attendee list located on the event app.
2 – Download the Official NextGenGov App from your smartphone – simply search your phone’s store for “NextGenGov”, or click on this link from your phone, and you are good to go! From there, you can build your own schedule, peak through the contacts and begin to get a feel for what sessions you would like to attend.
3 – Browse through some frequently asked questions to learn more about common questions like the dress code, press policy and other fine print.
4 – If you are social media savvy, be sure to like NextGen on Facebook, follow us on twitter and tweet using #nextgengov
5 – Don’t miss the opportunity to take part in something new at NextGen and sign up for office hours with some of our prestigious speakers – limited slots are available so you have to act fast.
P.S. Be sure to tell your colleagues, they can catch a few sessions live from their computer. We will be streaming the general sessions andkeynote speakers; of course, they will still miss out on the overall experience!
