USAID is partnering with the Departments of State, Education, Commerce, and Health and Human Services to host Global Pulse 2010 from March 29 – 31. Global Pulse 2010 (http://www.globalpulse2010.gov) is an online collaboration event, which will bring together engaged participants and organizations throughout the world. The event was conceptualized to create awareness that the U.S. Government is ready and willing to engage with partners from around the globe. Thousands of citizens from over 150 countries around the world have already registered to participate.
During the course of this three-day event, Global Pulse 2010 will bring together thousands of engaged participants and organizations throughout the world to collaborate on 10 challenges facing the global community. These issues are: Women and Girls; Education; Partnerships; Political and Civil Rights; Inspiring a New Generation; Global Health; Entrepreneurship, Trade and Economic Opportunity; Science, Technology, and Innovation; A Sustainable Planet; and Pursuing Grand Challenges.
Global Pulse 2010 is a truly exciting opportunity for individuals to voice their opinions, share ideas, and create solutions in collaboration with governments, private businesses, and individual champions. Once registered, anyone with access to a computer and an internet connection will be able to participate.
