Since 2010, GovLoop and Young Government Leaders have brought together hundreds of government leaders at the two-day Next Generation of Government Training Summit.
Last year, over 700 public servants representing over 50 government organizations were inspired by innovation success stories and gained important leadership skills to inspire positive change in government.
Keynotes included government leaders Brad Carson, the Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness at the Department of Defense, David Bray, Chief Information Officer at the Federal Communications Commission and Mickey Dickerson of the Digital Service. Several influential authors also led sessions, including Amy Wilkinson, Henry De Sio, Greg Neri, Lee Caraher, Jeff Beals and Sheril Kirshenbaum. You can watch some of their sessions here.
We are excited to announce that this year’s summit is taking place August 1-2 at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. And if you register by January 31st, you can lock in the best price to attend.
Whether you’re a millennial just entering the government workforce, a manager tasked with retaining and developing talent, or a seasoned public servant looking for new resources or challenges, the NextGen Summit is where you want to be this summer.
I have looked at this opportunity for the last couple years and this really looks like a great conference. However, with budget cuts in our state there is no way that I could get approved for even the early bird registration. Is there some kind of scholarship opportunity?
Thank you
