I don’t know about you, but I have a big thing for apps. These days you can find an app for pretty much anything out there, which is great, but I know a lot of people want to know what government apps are out there? Have you wondered the same thing?
Here are some resources to point you towards awesome government applications:
Apps.USA.Gov. This is an awesome hub to utilize if you want a full, categorized listing of government apps.
GovLoop’s Mobile Apps Page: Find out from your GovLoop peers about the latest and greatest mobile apps! A lot of great information can be found through this page including blogs, discussions, and groups completely dedicated to mobile apps, and a lot of information on the best government apps available to you.

My TSA: This awesome app provides a tool to find out if an item is allowed in your carry-on or checked baggage, information on ID requirements and liquids rules, tips for packing and dressing to speed through security, and best of all, real-time operating status for U.S. airports.
The Baby Name App: Having a baby? Want Name Ideas? This app shows the most popular baby names from the past 130 years.
IRS.gov: A great app that makes tax season a whole lot simpler. The app lets taxpayers check on the status of their refund, sign up for helpful tax tips or get the most recent IRS Twitter feeds.
