This week’s Project of the Week is special. We’re highlighting “Armed With Science” – a podcast hosted by the Department of Defense (DoD) that airs every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. EDT (and you can follow them on Twitter – @armedwscience). What makes it special is not only the incredible perspectives of the people that I interviewed, but also the format. Since the subject of this week’s project is a podcast, I thought we ought to get creative and, as I say in the introduction, “turn the tables on the podcasters” and put them in the hot seat.
Also, I often urge agencies to break down their content into bite-size chunks. In order to model that length of content and, since there are so many nuggets of wisdom in this podcast, I decided to break out the questions into smaller, consumable chunks. Hopefully, this minor production effort will enable you to return to this blog post and get a quick dose of insight and inspiration from our colleagues at DoD. Well, enough of the written word, let’s listen to and learn from the producers of “Armed With Science.”
