Today, one of the most important capabilities for a government organization to possess is effective communication – both between employees and with constituents. The problem is, as expectations and technologies have evolved, many agency communication platforms and strategies have not been updated to meet new needs.
Agencies must adopt a modern, unified communication strategy if they are going to meet the demands of today’s digital environment. But how do they do that? The answer lies with Unified Communications (UC) as-a-service.
In three lessons, this course examines the drivers for enhanced communication in government, as well as the barriers that prevent many agencies from reaching their goals. We also outline the capabilities that every agency needs to move forward, and describe how UC-as-a-service brings those capabilities to bear.
This course was informed by Mitch Robinson, Sr. Director of Cloud Strategy and Implementation at Avaya.
